stellar! My bf found this place and decided to dine in on a whim. There were some issues with his order and without him saying anything the manager made it right. Having both been in the service industry, my bf and i both understand that everyone has difficult days and he wanted to let it slide, but the attentive manager refused to let him go without making it right. Because of this, he decided to come back less than a week later, and brought me along! Our server Howie provided some of the best service ive ever gotten in a restaurant! He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. Some things we wanted weren't available due to seasonal menu changes, no biggie, but he went out of his way to provide us alternatives and even made me a delicious citrus mocktail! The fries were bomb (ask for the horseradish sauce, holy moly i would buy that by the bottle), salad greens were fresh and crisp, that texture on the wagyu carpaccio was the best! Stroganoff was a so so for me, but GET THAT FREAKIN BRANZINO! I thought i wouldnt be able to finish that whole fish after apps but i seriously demolished that! Insider tip, add the horseradish sauce to that too! Not shown: dessert. Omg that deconstructed cheesecake tasted as good as it looks. Not too sweet, perfect airy but creamy texture, and white chocolate shell. This is THE spot in henderson to have a nice date. Its upscale, but not pretentious. Casual enough to feel like youre at a nice dinner party at a friends house. And everything is a STEAL for the price, portion and quality! This place has upped my standard everywhere else i cant wait to be regulars here! Shoutout to Howie thank you for the great night!

This place was so good, we went twice during our stay in Henderson. The happy hour is definitely a great deal. Half off all entree items. The first night I had duck and it was the best duck I've had in a long time. My husband's filet mignon was cooked perfect, but came with kimchi which I thought was an odd choice. I didn't think it went well with the steak. I would have rather had the kimchi with the duck wontons appetizer. The second visit I got swordfish which was good, but not nearly as good as the duck. It was a little disappointing. I would have preferred more seasoning or a sauce. My husband's short ribs were awesome though. Service was excellent both visits. Great cocktails. Will be back for sure.

Two of the best burgers I've ever eaten were at restaurants in the Las Vegas Valley, and the 138 Burger is one of them. Every single thing about this burger was pure perfection from the perfectly seasoned patty to the Parmesan crisp to the piping hot French fries that accompanied the meal. I dined in during a Sunday night dinner service, and the service my party received was top notch. Our server attended to all of our needs, and the front of the house manager also stopped by our table multiple times. We also really enjoyed the elegant dining room, and our multigenerational table vibed to the thoughtful playlist that was on in the background. It was quite a memorable meal, and I'll definitely be back!

I had a comp night at Green Valley Ranch and it gave me a chance to try a restaurant in Henderson where I rarely eat in the evenings. I was seated promptly and my server, Taylor, introduced himself. He brought me my iced tea and then answered some questions about the menu. I ordered the corn crab gazpacho for a starter. There was a change to it last night. Instead of crab, lobster was substituted. That's a win. The soup was cold, with a few pieces of lobster and was a very pleasant start. I need to order apps that are reasonable in size as I'm not sharing with another person and Taylor was right on with his description of the gazpacho. Next came the duck X3. This consisted of 2 thick cuts of duck breast, a confit of leg, and duck foie gras. The food was topped with very thin fried, crispy carrot strings. The duck was very good and it was a change for me from my normal steak. The steaks go from 6 ounces to 16 ounces and I wasn't up to having a pound of beef this time. Next time. Along with the main course, I got Brussels sprouts. This is a shareable portion. The sprouts were cooked and then blistered nicely! Very good. For dessert, I got a whimsical vanilla cream cheesecake. The cheesecake is shaped like a small werdge of Swiss cheese. The Swiss cheese is a thin layer of white chocolate that surrounds the cheesecake. With it was some raspberry purée and some thin slices of dessert bread. It was very good. Service was exceptiomal. Taylor was right on with every question I had asked and the suggestions he made. He took my iced tea to refill it. The restaurant was pleasant and the décor is well done. Seeing the beef in the case made me want to come back soon and do the 16 ounce steak. It's worth a trip to Henderson to try this place. My only problem was I had Kristin Chenowith's song "Taylor, the latte boy" in my head for part of the evening.
